Casting details on Mosaic Theatre season

Artistic director Richard Jay Simon unveiled the Mosaic Theatre’s season last week and now some of the initial casting is emerging.

Collected Stories, the Donald Margulies drama that just closed in NYC, will play in November with Barbara Bradshaw as a playwright and Kim Morgan Dean as her prot’g’. (Dean is in West Virginia right now doing The Marvelous Wonderettes). In June, Sam Shepherd’s Ages of the Moon will star veterans Gordon McConnell and Dennis Creaghan as old friends, re-united by mutual desperation. Over bourbon on ice, they sit, reflect and bicker until 50 years of love, friendship and rivalry are put to the test at the barrel of a gun.
