The Donkey Show, the cross between Studio 54 and Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, has been extended one week, and special deals have been added.
The immersive theater production, which puts the audience as well as the performers on the stage of at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, will continue now through Aug. 18.
At 10:30 p.m. Friday after the shows, the theater and Miami New Times will co-host after-parties at area nightclubs, The Stage on Aug. 3, Ricochet on Aug. 10 and Will Call on Aug. 18. The promotion includes free admission to the venues and a complimentary cocktail. Patrons must show their ticket stub for entry.
At the 7:30 p.m. shows on Friday August 5 and 17 and Saturdays Aug. 11, Harry Casey, co-founder of KC and the Sunshine Band will attend the show to dance and party with patrons.
. Patrons must be over 18 years old to enter; 21 to drink. Doors open 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday; 10:30 p.m. Saturday, 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $45 for the dance floor, $60 for VIP seats on the tiers with tables.
