Proud parents with youngsters who adore being in the spotlight often appreciate tips from others in the field.
The Plaza Theatre, a non-profit performing arts venue east of the Lantana area, is offering that opportunity.
A free workshop with a fun title, Theatrical Parenting 101, includes such topics as audition training, appropriate monologue selection and being supportive stage moms and dads.
The workshop and open house event is 10 a.m. to noon September 7 at The Plaza Theatre, 262 S. Ocean Blvd., Manalapan.
