Florida’s largest in-person audition for both Equity and non-Equity performers is set for May 16-18 in Boca Raton.
The annual event by the Florida Professional Theatres Association hosts several casting representatives from at least 13 theaters across the state.
Location: Florida Atlantic University’s main theater at 777 Glades Road, hosted by the Theatre Lab & Florida Atlantic University Department of Theatre & Dance.
FPTA workshops will be held Saturday. The actual auditions will be held 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Sunday and Monday. Dance & Singing Callbacks will be held those dance 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. the same day as your audition.

What to Prepare:
Headshot & resume
2-minute audition of your choice:
– Two contrasting monologues
– One monologue + 16 bars of a song
– Two contrasting songs (16 bars each)
One monologue
It is up to you if you sing first or do a monologue first.
Make sure if singing your music is clearly marked for the accompanist.
Music in a binder is the preference.
