This is a list of most of the productions in professional theaters in the three counties in which the major or secondary theme dealt with race, acknowledged diversity, or intentionally featured minority characters regardless of the underlying theme. It does not include shows solely because they had diverse casting, nor shows with minorities in roles in which race is not a character requirement, nor color-blind casting unless it is was meant to intentionally further the theme. It does not include Latin-centric troupes like Arca Images.
