Looking for a peek at what might be part of next June’s Summer Shorts? City Theatre is holding a free reading of as many as six contenders at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, on the second floor of the Key Biscayne Community Center, 10 Village Green Way. A wine and cheese reception and talk-back follows the readings.
The 18th Annual Summer Shorts: America’s Short Play Festival, is slated for June 6-30at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. City Theatre’s prestigious CityWrights Professional Weekend for Playwrights is slated for June 19-23 at the Epic Hotel in downtown Miami.
