All theater is a risky proposition, emotionally, artistically and financially. You can have a taste of that on June 2 at Mosaic Theatre’s fund raiser, its 2nd annual Monte Carlo Night at Bonaventure Country Club in Weston.
Dressed to the nines you can eat, drink, hear good music and play casino-type games such as blackjack, roulette, poker and craps beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. You have the opportunity to win thousands of dollars in cash and prizes at 15 gaming tables and a 50/50 raffle in which “silent players” may purchase tickets even if they are unable to attend.
Proceeds will benefit the theater and help to offset a significant decrease in governmental funding for the arts.
Admission is $60 for an Express Ticket which buys you a total of 100 chips. Or if you prefer, you can purchase a $100 Premium Ticket which buys you 250 chips. Or, purchase a Table Sponsorship for $250 which buys you 500 chips, signage on a gaming table and promotional display.
Tickets are also available for Mosaic’s 50/50 Raffle with a maximum of 100 tickets sold.
