Okay, maybe your trick or treaters are too young for the dueling productions of The Rocky Horror Picture Show playing at Slowburn Theatre Company and Andrews Living Arts this month. But there’s still Halloween-themed theater for the littlest playgoers courtesy of The Promethean Theatre’s Family Series.
Giggles, Ghosts, and Goodies: A Halloween Hoedown is a 60-minute production aimed at 3 to 10-year-olds to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday Oct. 22, and 11 a.m. Sunday Oct. 23 as well as 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 29 at The Promethean Theatre’s regular space at Nova Southeastern University’s Don Taft University Center Black Box Theatre, 3301 College Avenue, Davie.
The news release states, the show “will thrill you with old and new Halloween stories, tickle your funny bone with Halloween jokes, and show you a howling good time with a sing-along of Halloween songs. Come dressed in your Halloween costume and trick or treat with the cast after the show! “
